Hey Changers!
The first month of the year is already over, and the first rush of big ambitions with it (most clear indicator is the decreasing amount of bikes in front of the fitness studio in our yard :). We hope you did not loose any motivation to change the world yet!? Then come over soon and join us for one of the upcoming events!
Our February schedule is online. We still have a few free slots, so if you want to sign up for a membership in order to host your own event this is your chance.
One event hosted by a member is the talk on holistic healing on the 5th of February: "How diet and lifestyle helps me to deal with chronic cancer” is the title and we are looking forward to a constructive debate! We are also happy to announce that our wonderful member Beatrice agreed to repeat the workshop on herbal remedies on the 10th, so everyone who could not get a seat last time gets another shot.
On the 13th we will work on our practical plan on how to change the rules of society. This is super important for us and free for everyone, so we hope to have as many of you as possible around to join the discussion!
A new institution at think.dk is the OpenDev Tuesday: from next week on, each Tuesday we'll be working on the further development of the parentNode stack at the big table from 10 to 16. Drop by as you please, it’s free for anyone to join.
Also new in our repertoire is the Game afternoon: if you’re a fan of board games and søndags hygge come to the Center on Sunday the 19th!
As we had to cancel the movie screening last month (sorry again!), we will set up our cozy cinema twice in February: new date for the screening of “Waste Land” is the 8th, and on the 22nd we will show a documentary that fits the winter weather: Chasing Ice is probably the most beautiful evidence of climate change you can find - be prepared for some super impressive imagery.
My personal highlight this month will be the concert with ROE on the 16th - beautiful electronica / experimental pop from Sweden with a powerful voice and a visual show included. Tickets are limited, so save yours now!
As always, we’re very much looking forward to have you around <3
Insistently hopeful,
Anja
