Join us for an inspiring talk about how we can change the world. This event will give you a quick introduction to the key points of the Stopknappen ideology and framework, followed by an open table discussion.
Stopknappen is based on a yet unnamed ideology that believes in humans. It is built on the assumption that we can achieve even more through creativity and collaboration than through competition. We observe that our current system is so paralyzed by the problems of the old paradigm, that it is not capable of proficiently dealing with the overwhelming challenges coming ahead – so we have to replace it with a better alternative. Something that will allow us to live. Allow us to act.
The event
At this event I will try to guide you to a holistic understanding of the framework, leading, as quickly as possible to an open table dialogue or Q&A. We won’t get to touch on all topics but I’m prepared to take the time to answer all questions.
There will be coffee, tea and water available.
NOTE: We also have Themed talks on Stopknappen – for those who have already attended the introduction event and wish to participate more actively in the onwards development of the Stopknappen framework.
Stopknappen
Stopknappen is a new framework for society. It defines a new democratic state, where stress and financial pressure has been replaced with freedom of choice – and time to act on it. The framework has been designed to enable us to take a big (but not too big) leap forward in societal evolution and enable us to respond properly to the current threats to our known existence (climate change, pollution, inequality, refugees, armed conflicts, corruption, automation, etc). The framework recognizes the potential of the individual as well as the collective from which we thrive. It takes a holistic approach to rearrange our current society and unfold it’s full potential.
Startknappen
Startknappen is the actual implementation of the framework in the state of Denmark. The what, when and where of Stopknappen. It uses the framework as a blueprint and ideological inspiration to create a crowdsourced Denmark 4.0. implementable now.
About the host
‘I believe that the competitive society model is inhibiting innovation. When winning is the primary goal, we all lose. If we are to overcome the burdens ahead, we need to work together and share our knowledge. We need to dare to do things differently.’
Martin is co-founder of think.dk and describes himself as Ideologue, developer, writer and (r)evolutionary in spe. His need to challenge the norm precedes his sense of obedience - and for him, the stopbutton framework was the main driver to create think.dk.
