This is lecture #8 of our Holistic Web Development – Programming Course I. The lectures can also be attended individually.
In this event we will be digging deeper into the possibilities of HTML and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by using the Templator markup model and the semantic data properties specified by schema.org to create fully recyclable and Search Engine Optimized HTML.
Templator is a recyclable and strictly semantic, mobile-first, search engine optimized markup model, that allows you to completely separate content, design and functionality. Read more about Templator on parentnode.dk.
schema.org is an open source initiative set out to define a common set of semantic data properties, that can be used to enrich your HTML, so machines can index your content with a higher level of detail and accuracy. schema.org is supported by all the major search engines including Google, Bing and Yahoo.
After the presentation we will have an open table discussion about Templator and SEO.
