It's finally time to start a big chapter in the HWD course: JavaScript! JavaScript is a incredibly versatile programming language that can be used to add interactivity to websites, build complete application UIs or application logic on both the server- and client side.
In this, the 1st of our 4 JavaScript lectures, we will look at the basics of JavaScript: Variables and data types, Operators, Conditionals and Functions. We will also take a first peak at the Document Object Model (DOM) to make sense of it all.
After the presentation we will have an open table discussion about JavaScript.
