Workshop: ‘Sprout and Grow’

A workshop on growing plants and mindset

The Event

Sprout and Grow workshop takes you on a journey from seed to sprout. You get to know your seeds better and learn how to create a good sprouting environment in your window still, your back yard or in your urban garden. We will explore the magic of regrowing your food so bring your food scraps from your vegetables and lets stop food wasting together as we create a green, sustainable lifestyle.

To understand how we can reuse our waste before it actually turns in to items we throw out, we will use empty packaging such as plastic containers, milk cartons, toilet paper rolls etc. If you have any of this at home just bring it to the workshop and we will recirculate the items together with your food scraps.
It is possible to get containers, soil and seeds at the workshop, so if you don’t have any, don’t hesitate to come join us anyway!

About CirkuLær

CirkuLær is an association which encourages a circular mindset through hands on workshops and learning concepts. Their mission is to support an educative culture for sustainability and recycling, which helps you to develop a greener mindset through workshops on and including waste. You CAN do something for a better environment - and we'll start where you are.

Why CirkuLær: a circular economy is a regenerative system in which resource input and waste, emission, and energy leakage are minimized by slowing, closing, and narrowing energy and material loops. This can be achieved through long-lasting design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing, recycling, and upcycling. This is in contrast to a linear economy which is a 'take, make, dispose' model of production.
