“Lawfare" consists of using of the legal system against an enemy, such as by damaging or delegitimizing them, tying up their time or winning a public opinion victory.

Around the world, politicians, trade unionists and whistleblowers are the main targets.

In France, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of the opposition, has been going through a process of discredit as revealed in this documentary.
You will find all the ingredients of a lawfare operation: accusations without proof, exceptional justice, violation of rights and freedoms, media denigration. The only possible answer: popular mobilization.
You will see testimonies from Samuel Gontier, journalist, Régis de Castelnau, lawyer, Guillaume Long, former Ecuadorian Minister, Alexandre Langlois, police officer, and other experts.

Join us for an exciting event with passionate discussions and get an insight on how politics go in our neighboring country France.
