NOTE: This event has been postponed to the 16.09.2020!

The association 'Økosamfundet Egeskoven' is working to create a new eco-community at the village of Egebjerg in Odsherred with expected start at the end of 2020 or in 2021.

They are now looking for the last shareholders, so if you also dream of an active family life, community and fresh country air, this could be just for you :)

The aim is to reconcile modern life with sustainable construction, cultivation and housing. Based on the principles of cradle-to-cradle and permaculture, the initiative will contribute positively to nature and biodiversity - both for the benefit of ourselves, our children and future generations.

The eco-community, which is called 'the Oak Forest', is aimed to be a safe place to grow up, and there will be room for play, community and private life.

Some hard facts:

  • 1 hour drive from Copenhagen
  • Close to nature
  • Co-operative association with own houses
  • Opportunity for both self-build, co-build and turnkey construction
  • Walking distance to kindergarten, school and grocery store
  • Diversity in resident composition
  • Community houses, workshops and agricultural cooperatives
  • Opportunity for self-sufficiency and smaller occupations

We aim to become 25 families. If you are interested to join, come and hear more this evening.
