While we often say that a healthy lifestyle begins in the kitchen, the important choices happen at the grocery store. With so many chemicals in our foods these days, it’s hard to understand what we are eating. Hard to pronounce ingredients, lists of E-numbers (E100, E238 etc) and misleading labels can make it confusing as to what exactly is in our food.
During this talk, you will learn how to properly read food labels without being misled by marketing strategies. We will decode nutrition labels, learn which additives to avoid and how to choose more sustainable and healthier options. There is nothing more empowering than knowing what you are putting into your body. Let’s take the confusion and guesswork out of the shopping experience and learn what foods and ingredients support your wellbeing so that you can make informed, healthier choices.
