The corona pandemic has put large parts of the world to a halt, and we now face an historic opportunity for creating massive change in our society.
Even though the corona crisis can feel overwhelming, we should not forget that the climate and ecological crises continue to unfold at accelerating rates. We are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction.
The need for collective action has never been greater. At this workshop, activists from Extinction Rebellion will share the latest climate and ecological science on where our planet is heading towards.
Through dialogue and exercises, we'll look at how social movements have created extensive change in society in the past. We’ll then discuss how we best to bring attention to the crisis while practicing social distancing in these times of crisis.
The event is free and open to everyone. Talks and discussions will be in English.

Imens corona pandemien har sat store dele af verden på pause, står vi i en historisk mulighed for at skabe store forandringer i samfundet.
Selvom corona krisen kan føles overvældende, skal vi ikke glemme at planeten stadig står i en økologisk krise. Vi er midt i den sjette masseudryddelse jorden har oplevet, og klimaforandringerne forsætter med en accelererende hast.
Behovet for kollektiv handling har aldrig været større. Til denne workshop vil aktivister fra Extinction Rebellion kort dele det sidste nye klima forskning vedrørende hvor vores planet er på vej hen.
Igennem dialog og øvelser vil vi se på hvordan sociale bevægelser kan skabe store forandringer i samfundet. Og hvordan vi mest effektivt tager handling for at drage opmærksomhed til krisen imens vi overholder social distance.
