Workshop: ‘Perfect Patches’
Rewear and rainpatches
CirkuLær has a batch of high quality rainwear, which we like to design into reuse with you. At the workshop you'll get a rainwear set, which has to be re-patched before you can wear it back into reality. While patching we will focus on the importance of water:
It is life giving, essential and one of UN’s global goals: clean water and sanitation. We will in this workshop focus on our relationship to water - both your personal and our collective. What does mean to you? Together we will questioning our common consciousness on water globally and the “take-aways” will hopefully be new thoughts and maybe new habits – wearing a new rainwear set.
CirkuLær is an association which encourages a circular mindset through hands on workshops and learning concepts. Their mission is to support an educative culture for sustainability and recycling, which helps you to develop a greener mindset through workshops on and including waste. You CAN do something for a better environment - and we'll start where you are.
Why CirkuLær: a circular economy is a regenerative system in which resource input and waste, emission, and energy leakage are minimized by slowing, closing, and narrowing energy and material loops. This can be achieved through long-lasting design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing, recycling, and upcycling. This is in contrast to a linear economy which is a 'take, make, dispose' model of production.
