For some weird reason when it comes to childcare in our society everyone fights for himself - at least until we can put our little ones in a public institution. In my opinion, it would make much more sense to share the work and responsibilities that come with having a baby.

Freelancers can hardly afford to not work until they get a spot for their cuties in a nursery, and none of us wants them to feel less interesting than the computer screen we are forced to look at so much these days.

And on top of this, there are some people out there that don't want to put their baby in a nursery at all - because it's too impersonal, too institutionalized, there is no spot available in a 'nice' nursery or they simply prefer to keep them close as long as possible.

This first meeting is mainly to get to know each other and see if we can get along and agree on some basic things - plus I want you to see the location! think.dk hosts events in the evenings but during the days the big room is mostly unused and might be great as a mom/dad-and-baby-coworking-space.

These are the (minimum) questions to be answered:

  • How many people will/can be on board and under which circumstances? What are the demands, requirements, wishes of the individuals?
  • What do we need to get started?
  • What would be the costs, and how do we cover them?

The preferred outcome is that we can form a committed group of 6-14 moms and dads that will realize this project with me as fast as possible.

There is a fully equipped kitchen so you can bring food if you want, and of course, your baby is welcome as well :)
