For some weird reason when it comes to childcare in our society everyone fights for himself - at least until we can put our little ones in a public institution. In my opinion, it would make much more sense to share the work and responsibilities that come with having a baby.
Freelancers can hardly afford to not work until they get a spot for their cuties in a nursery, and none of us wants them to feel less interesting than the computer screen we are forced to look at so much these days.
And on top of this, there are some people out there that don't want to put their baby in a nursery at all - because it's too impersonal, too institutionalized, there is no spot available in a 'nice' nursery or they simply prefer to keep them close as long as possible.
At this second meeting, we want to find more people who would like to get on board, develop a time frame and start finding the missing factors.
The preferred outcome is that we can form a committed group of 6-14 moms and dads that will realize this project with me as fast as possible. If you are interested to join - also if you can not come to the meeting - please fill out this form, so we can include your input.
